Palni, Inc. is currently seeking a Network Engineer.

Desired Candidate Profile

Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering (any), Technology, Information Sys or related and 1 yr of exp to configure various types of equipment in the networks like NIDs, Switches, Terminals, Hubs, and Routers as required to upgrade the telecom network.

Use AutoCAD and Microsoft Visio knowledge to design new WAN and LAN telecom network topologies for multi-domain networks leveraging various customer-specific fiber network designing tools like ARAMIS, ICGS, IDDS, QGIS, and OptiNT.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and modify complex Fiber network layouts using Micro-station, G-Technology, OptiCAD, and BSTCAD tools. Identify modules for improving network stability and perform capacity planning for fiber networks while coordinating with other upgrades related to associated networks.
• Participate in design discussions with various groups within the company to develop synergies between different existing and proposed networks.

McKinney, TX ( required travel to client locations throughout the USA)
